Rules and Criteria for Nomination and Election of Trustees
Criteria for Nominations
- The Nominee must be associated with a member group but need not necessarily
be the Chair, Manager, Director or other principal office holder. A member,
worker, volunteer, trustee or committee member may be nominated.
- Nominees must be proposed by one group and seconded by another separate
group - both of which must be registered with the Partnership. Lists of groups
registered with the Partnership are available on request.
- The Nomination Form must be signed by individuals who have the appropriate
authority from the proposing and seconding organisations as well as the nominee
him/herself.
Nomination Procedure
- Submitted Nomination Forms are checked by a PCP member of staff for eligibility.
- Completed applications are considered by PCP's Board of Trustees at the
next available Board meeting.
- PCP member groups will be invited to vote via a postal ballot if there is
more nominations than available places.
- Nominations will be ratified at Plymouth Community Partnership's next available
AGM.
